This offers faster and more direct access to all the company’s information and associated with the patient’s profile in a single click.

At Digital55, we designed an app for Laber Hospitales patients, working with Ionic and Angular.

Laber Hospitales

Through it, in addition to requesting an appointment and validating it to obtain a turn at the hospital, we added other functionalities.

The patient will be able to access their analyses, reports and images to consult all the data related to them, in addition to having quick access to the latest tests performed.

The app also has a system of notifications, for example to be aware of when the results of a test are uploaded and reminders of their appointments. In addition, there is a geolocation system, which allows the patient to request their turn when they are near the hospital, to optimize times.

Management systems

In the healthcare sector, management systems can be applied to the management of professionals, healthcare centers, patients and their respective records… One of the most interesting uses is the digitization of management processes of a hospital’s day-to-day.

Tasks such as organizing the schedules of doctors and nurses, medical tests, medicines with their corresponding patients and schedules, planning operating rooms, managing emergency shifts… All this can be part of a hospital management system, and it is what we are working on together with Tich Consulting (Asisa).

Several of our consultants and developers have joined the Tich Consulting (Asisa) team to carry out this project, in which they are using Node.js and Angular, in addition to the Redux design pattern. This allows the application to be managed by states and, in this way, greater efficiency is achieved.

Kiosks and appointment management

Leaving behind the request for a medical appointment at the center itself or by telephone, more and more users demand the possibility of requesting their appointments online. Although this is relatively easy, to achieve patient satisfaction it is necessary to give it an added value.

Examples are the complete visualization of the availability calendar, the alternative of contacting an agent via chat, access to the clinical data that will guide the appointment or the use of kiosks.

An example is the development we carried out for Mapfre. In addition to creating the online appointment request experience, we gave prominence to the kiosks that are available in their clinics. Through them, you can not only request a new appointment, but they also serve to validate them once the patient is there with their card.

The patient will obtain all the necessary information about their turn and assigned room, while, through a connection with Mapfre’s internal information systems, healthcare professionals know at all times which patients are in the waiting room and what their history is. Thus, the shift system is much more efficient.
