Dispatching platform for Air Liquide
Using Node and React, we created a tool capable of helping the company manage and optimize its resources and deliveries.
The challenge
Air Liquide took positions in the logistics sector through a digital platform that managed the operations of contractors. The objective was to offer a tool to contractors that would help them manage and optimize their resources and deliveries.
The Methodology
We started with a consulting phase that aimed to understand in detail how a logistics contractor works and the company’s business objectives. We held several working meetings with the company’s personnel that allowed us to recreate what user experience the contractors, as well as the platform administrator, should have.
We created an interaction prototype, which we refined in a new cycle of meetings with the company’s personnel. The prototype allows us to know, before entering programming, how the platform will behave and what the user experience will be.
The Solution
Once the prototype was approved, a team of two frontend programmers developed the user interaction interface. Our team worked hand-in-hand with the company’s backend team, integrating the services provided by the API.
The organization of the project was based on agile methodology. A development on scrum was proposed, with cycles, first weekly, and later biweekly. Synchronization with the backend team was a key factor in ensuring that the work of two teams in parallel progressed at the expected pace and with the expected quality.
