Digital platform for Digital Virgo Call Centers

Through the use of Node and Angular, we evolved the company’s platform to adapt it to the digital market.

The challenge

Digital Virgo needed to evolve its platform to adapt it to a more digital market. The services and functionalities of its products were at a very high level, but the underlying monolithic architecture limited the growth, evolution, and opening of data to third parties.

The Methodology

In an initial consulting stage, our technicians thoroughly understood the company’s applications and the service they offered. Familiarizing ourselves with the products and functionalities is important to make a correct technical design of the communication between backend and frontend.

Within two months, we sized the intervention and presented the company with an approach for the transformation of its architecture and the development of frontend: road map, team and milestones.

The Solution

During the development phase, we placed a team of two frontend programmers in the company’s offices who integrated with the backend resources to make the work more fluid and efficient.

Scrum was used to organize the development. The functionality was disaggregated into small stories that were estimated previously by the programming team. The sprints had biweekly cycles. The feed back from each sprint was incorporated in the next interaction.
